87R-100S
The 87R-100S offers a convenient, time saving riser mounting system, simplifying the process and making it quick and easy for a one-person installation. For more flexibility, this system can also be converted to a floor installation. This system utilizes Gast’s own oil-less rocking piston style compressor with industry low sound levels, longer life, and better electrical efficiency compared to competitive models. Included with this system is a durable digital pressure switch to provide wide system capacity all in one model. This switch is designed to meet NFPA-13 standards for initial pump up time and is rated for 300 gallons (40 PSI) and 725 gallons (18 PSI), has the ability to set cut in and cut out pressures with the touch of a button, and includes a feature to avoid tampering of installation settings. To remove the need to manually drain condensate from the buffer tank, Gast has configured the system to eliminate this problem altogether.

What voltage is the 87R-110S rated for?
This system is rated for 120V/60Hz operation for almost all U.S. based locations. Refer to the Technical Data Sheet for this and other important specifications

Does the 87R-110S come with a cord and plug?
No. Electrical code for a dry sprinkler compressor used with fire protection equipment requires an electrician to hard wire power to the unit using approved conduit connections. This helps avoid unauthorized personnel interrupting power to the compressor. Each 87R-110S compressor will provide 120V wiring and 1/2" NPT nipple for easy conduit connection.

Does the compressor come with an inlet filter?
Yes. This dry sprinkler compressor system provides an inlet filter standard. If you need to replace the filter, order item B300A.

Does this compressor/system require preventative maintenance?
It is recommended that the intake filter (B300A) is replaced annually.

Will this compressor come with all the necessary hardware to mount it to a riser?
Yes. This dry sprinkler compressor system comes with a complete riser mounting hardware kit, a set of riser clamps from 2" to 4", and all the bolts and square nuts needed. A system hose connector (hose whip) also comes with each unit.

Each unit comes with a Quick Start guide for easy installation and an Operations and Maintenance Manual with wiring diagram included.

Yes. You can purchase a floor mount kit, part number K1022, separately.
