What oil should be used?
Gast air motors require a 10 wt detergent oil; Gast AD220. If you do not have this oil 10w30 detergent oil may be substituted.

One drop of oil for every 50 cfm of air used consumed.

Gast recommends a filter, regulator and lubricator be placed within twenty inches of the air motor.

An eight vane air motor is used when minimum speed is required or in inching applications.
