Position Title: Account Executive (Sales)

Reports To: Vice President of OEM Sales

Location: World Headquarters or Territory Location

Department / Unit: Domestic Sales

Basic Function:
The Account Executive is responsible for all activity in assigned accounts including product development and sales, valued-added services/sales, development of the client relationship at all levels in the client organization and client satisfaction. The Account Executive must effectively implement sales & marketing programs and/or product development initiatives within assigned accounts and/or market territory to achieve the corporate goals. The Account Executive must be resourceful and apply critical thinking in problem solving, managing multiple tasks and juggling priorities. Interacts directly with clients and/or peers in the market to obtain information that will keep us competitive in quality, pricing and new product development. Must have a customer mindset.

The position requires up to 60% travel into the assigned territory or relocation into assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a business plan/strategy for assigned accounts and/or market territory that delivers short-term revenue objectives and long-term sales growth opportunities.

Identify product development and/or sales opportunities at existing and/or new accounts. Fully quantify the opportunity. Provide written business assessment/evaluation to management and/or front-end business team for proper product application.

Support and provide direction to Business Development Team. Coordinate and conduct cross-functional customer needs/assessment meetings. Define changing market conditions and competitive issues. Identify market needs and opportunities, creating a sustainable competitive advantage.

Report assigned accounts and/or market territory sales and/or relationship activity to management. Provide accurate monthly, quarterly and annual territory unit forecasts.

Provide accurate / timely communications to internal and external customers. Create a development plan to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.

Create solutions to fit account and/or market territory needs. Must be self-motivated, show initiative, anticipate and prevent customer problems.

Demonstrate ability to penetrate and sign large major accounts/OEMs.

Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement. Demonstrate ability to lead and work well in a team environment. Mechanical and mental/physical/visual acuity. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Persons occupying this position will be expected to sign an Employee Inventions and Proprietary Information agreement.

Education and Experience Requirements or Equivalencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Technical field.

At Least five (5) years equivalent work experience with one (1) to three (3) years proven professional sales and/or account management experience. Proven track record of delivering customer satisfaction. Verifiable sales experience exceeding large quotas.
